This Mango Habanero Salsa is sunshine in a bowl: ripe mango brings a juicy, golden sweetness, red bell pepper and onion add crunch and bite, cilantro keeps it fresh and green, habanero brings a slow, tropical heat and a squeeze of lime ties everything together with brightness. Scooped up with MASA Lime Chips, it’s the kind of snack that feels equal parts refreshing and bold, a little sweet and a little fiery.
Ingredients
1 ripe mango (~1.5 cups), peeled, pitted, and diced
½ cup red bell pepper, seeded and finely chopped
¼ cup red onion, finely diced
¼ cup fresh cilantro, thick stems removed and roughly chopped
In a medium bowl, combine mango, bell pepper, onion, cilantro, and habanero.
Add lime juice, zest, and salt. Toss gently until everything looks glossy and mingled.
Taste and adjust: more lime for tang, more habanero for heat, more salt for balance.
Serve with MASA Lime Chips, or let chill 15 minutes for flavors to deepen.
