Warm apples, buttery crumble, and a touch of cinnamon spice, this apple crisp gets a sweet, unexpected twist from crushed MASA Churro. Baked until golden and bubbling, it’s the perfect mix of cozy and crisp, especially when topped with vanilla ice cream, caramel drizzle, and a sprinkle of extra MASA for that salty-sweet crunch.

2 apples, peeled and chopped
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
⅛ tsp ginger
½ tbsp arrowroot powder
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 ½ tbsp coconut flour
⅓ cup crushed pecans
1 handful MASA Chips Churro, crushed
1 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp melted coconut oil
Vanilla ice cream
Caramel sauce
Crushed MASA Chips Churro
Preheat oven to 350℉. Lightly oil two small baking dishes.
In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients for the apple filling and stir to coat evenly.
Divide the mixture between the baking dishes and bake for 15 minutes.
While the apples bake, mix all crumble ingredients in a separate bowl until well combined.
Remove the apple filling from the oven and sprinkle the crumble evenly on top.
Return to the oven and bake for another 10 minutes, until the topping is golden and crisp.
Let cool slightly, then serve warm with vanilla ice cream, a drizzle of caramel, and a sprinkle of crushed MASA Churro.
