A cozy, crowd-pleasing dish that turns a bag of MASA Original into a full meal. Layered with spiced beef, beans, corn, salsa, melty cheese, and a generous scoop of sour cream, it lands somewhere between nachos and a casserole. Warm, crunchy, and unapologetically messy - in the best way.
Ingredients
1 (5 oz) bag MASA Chips Original, plus more for serving
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a medium baking dish (9x9 or similar).
Brown the beef: Heat avocado oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, taco seasoning, and salt. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes. Remove from heat.
Combine the filling: Stir in the beans, corn, and salsa directly into the skillet with the cooked beef. Let everything simmer together for 3–5 minutes, until warmed through and slightly thickened.
Assemble the casserole: Add a generous layer of MASA Chips to the bottom of the baking dish. Spoon the beef mixture over top. Dollop with sour cream and sprinkle evenly with shredded cheese.
Bake: Transfer to the oven and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
Serve: Top with extra chips for crunch and dig in while it’s hot. Optional: garnish with avocado, cilantro, or lime wedges.
